The event will begin at 3.00 pm on the 23rd of April, 2016 at 48 Ironbark Road, Tapitallee, with the ceremony to commence at 4.00 pm.
If you’re intending on joining us (or sadly can’t!), please let us know by the 1st of March either by returning the RSVP slip included in your invitation, or via the web form below.
The reception is being held on the property. There will be vast quantities of alcohol, a suckling pig, a whole lamb, mountains of salad, lawn games galore (axe-throwing, giant Jenga, Kubb, skittles, lawn Twister, croquet and boules), a whole ton o’ dancing, and a karaoke machine.
Get those vocal chords ready, people.
Wear what you like! Extra points if you show up in costume.
Children are, of course, entirely welcome.
Tapitallee is approximately 10 minutes from Bomaderry, 15 minutes from Nowra, or 20 minutes from Berry.
Guests are welcome to catch a taxi, cycle, or drive; those driving will be able to park on-site. However, the more leisurely among you should catch the shuttle bus we’re organising just for the event. And yes, before you ask: the bus driver will also be dropping people home at approximately 11 pm.
Anyone wishing to catch the bus should let us know as soon as possible via the contact form below, and we will let you know the designated pick-up and drop-off times and locations.
Guests are welcome to either stay in one of the surrounding townships, or camp on the property itself. Campers are free to either park themselves in the property’s enormous shed, or pitch a tent on the grounds themselves. For those in Sydney without camping gear, this little startup has some some excellent hire packages.
Those less inclined to brave the elements will have the most luck booking through TripAdvisor, Stayz, HomeAway or Airbnb, but a simple Google of “accommodation Cambewarra” comes up with lots of options. When booking, it’s advisable to search for places in Cambewarra, Berry, Bomaderry and Nowra.
As noted previously, if you’re booking a property in one of the surrounding townships and want to avail yourselves of the shuttle bus, please let us know via the contact form at the bottom of this page.
As you might know, we intend to relocate overseas later this year. Pretty exciting!
Although we don’t have an immediate need for appliances or crockery, we might need a little help getting set up in Europe. If you would like to make a donation to our wishing well, that would be enormously appreciated.
